As the 2023 NBA Draft gets closer, the anticipation among the fans is increasing with new and emerging prospects joining the league alongside the current NBA stars.

The LNB Pro A and French professional basketball player Victor Wembanyama of the Metropolitans 92 is, however, among the star prospects this season as the No.1 pick in the 2023 draft.

The skills and abilities possessed by him at the age of 19 are comparable to those of the 2003 high school draftee LeBron James of St. Vincent-St. Mary.

Besides his NBA draft, the 7-foot-4 player has made another milestone by clinching an official shoe deal with Nike releasing his signature collections while playing for the new franchise.

Victor's contract with Nike, however, goes back to his professional career for France from the 2019-21 season in a multi-year sneaker deal, to be continued forward in his NBA career.

In his last season with the Metropolitans, Victor primarily wore Nike Zoom G.T. Run custom shoes and is likely to continue with a similar collection in his rookie season, making his NBA debut.

The prediction of his shoe contract is expected to be an estimated $100 million since LeBron James' $90 million seven-year shoe contract, the largest rookie deal in the league,

As for his NBA debut, the prospect has a probability of joining the San Antonio Spurs as the No.1 pick, followed by Charlotte Hornets with the second and the Trail Blazers with the third pick.
