WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long in an interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling recalled one incident where The Undertaker praised him for getting Vince McMahon stumped on live TV.

Teddy Long had a lengthy run as an onscreen General Manager of Smackdown as he played the role from 2004 till 2012.

Teddy recalled an incident from 2009 where he had a live promo segment with Vince McMahon and the WWE chairman went off script.

The segment happened right after the storyline where Undertaker kidnapped Teddy Long and the promo segment was an important part of the story.

Vince went off script which forced Long to improvise and come up with an instant response. Long told the chairman that he worked for him which forced Vince to walk away without saying a word.

Undertaker after the segment approached the former Smackdown GM backstage and told him that the improvised response stumped Vince McMahon and he's the first person to do so.

Long also said that he wasn't carried away after hearing praise from such a legend and instead he decided to focus on his job and improve his work.

Undertaker and Teddy Long are both WWE Hall of Famers right now. Vince McMahon meanwhile retired from his role earlier this year following hush money allegations.
