UFC star fighter Conor McGregor has a long history of controversies, from sexual assaults to alleged attacks and robbery arrests, which has put his image at great risk.

Carrying such a speculative image already, McGregor is currently accused of sexual assault on a woman during Game 4 of the 2023 NBA Finals held last week.

Based on reports, the victim was present at the game in Miami along with a friend but was later separated and forced by the security staff into the men's bathroom where the accused was present.

Forcing her inside the bathroom, the woman got the chance to escape from McGregor elbowing him but left behind her purse, which she later received from the security personnel.

Representing the victim, woman's lawyer Ariel Mitchell obtained a piece of evidence by receiving a part of video footage relating to the incident, following which an open investigation was set up.

The lawyer representing McGregor has, however, denied the accusations after a letter outlining his accusations was sent stating, "The allegations are false. Mr. McGregor will not be intimidated."

Besides this, McGregor was also seen in a mock fight on court, with the Miami Heat's mascot punching him twice during halftime, for which he was taken to a local hospital for medical treatment.

Following the incident, Heat released a statement. “We are aware of the allegations and conducting a full investigation. Pending the outcome of the investigation, we will withhold further comments.”
