Over the years, Joe Rogan has gained notoriety for his “bizarre” claims both as a UFC commentator and while in conversation with different guests on his podcast.
Rogan has found himself in numerous controversies in the past. From accusations of favoring some fighters in his commentary to his opinions on several UFC fighters.
Taking a jibe at Rogan’s constant habit of paving way for controversial opinions, UFC fighter Belal Muhammad did not mince his words as he mocked the UFC commentator.
“Joe Rogan right now …We can Stop the fence grabs if we get rid of the fence and fight on a basketball court.” Belal Muhammad tweeted.
The comment came in the wake of UFC Orlando where Marcelo Rojo grabbed the fence to secure a takedown against Francis Marshall. Needless to say, this wasn’t the first such occasion inside the UFC Octagon.
In the past, several UFC fighters, including Conor McGregor, and Kamaru Usman have been accused of grabbing the fence during their fights.
The illegal move continues to be a thing fighters often rely on, with no clear punishment in the rule books. On several occasions, fans have demanded a point deduction for any such act.
Mocking Joe Rogan, Belal suggested how if it was on Rogan, he would have made the fighters compete on the NBA court to negate any advantage due to the fence. Needless to say, it was a harmless joke.
