WWE Head of Creative Triple H back in 2014 made a very poor decision regarding former WWE Champion Batista's booking which cost the WWE a lot of money.

Batista left the WWE to shoot the Marvel film "Guardians of the Galaxy" in 2014 and he asked the company to book him in a match at SummerSlam that year after the film's release.

The former Evolution member felt that it would be great for all parties to have him compete at the PPV after the release of such a massive movie and pitched the idea to Triple H and Stephanie.

The idea was rejected by Hunter and his wife as the two mocked Batista and reportedly said: "We don't even know if the movie is gonna be good."

The film Guardians of the Galaxy went on to become a huge success as it made 773 million dollars at the box office and helped Batista improve his reputation in the Hollywood world.

This can be considered one of the biggest missed opportunities from the WWE's point of view as they could've made a lot of money if Batista was booked at the show.

Batista then went on to become one of the biggest stars in Hollywood after his character "Drax the Destroyer" became a huge hit among the fans.

The veteran then returned and had his final match in the WWE at Wrestlemania 35 against Triple H itself. The Hollywood star is rumored to get inducted into the Hall of Fame this year.
