Triple H Won’t Pay $10 Million to 53 Year Old WWE Star to Return

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle recently said that he is open to returning to the WWE for one more match.

Angle said that if WWE pays him $10 million then he will put his wrestling boots back and work another match.

He said that he'd like to face Vince McMahon's son Shane McMahon at WrestleMania under the right circumstances.

But according to former Smackdown General Manager Teddy Long, the WWE would never consider paying Angle the money.

Talking to Sportskeeda wrestling's One on One show, Long said that WWE would rather bring in someone else to face Shane because of Kurt's 10 million dollar asking price.

The Olympic gold medalist last wrestled in the WWE against Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35 in a match which he lost.

Circled Dot

Shane McMahon was last seen at the Royal Rumble event earlier this year where he received a lot of criticism for booking the match. It's unclear whether he'll return to the company again.

It looks very unlikely for WWE to book Kurt Angle vs Shane McMahon as Triple H is the current head of creative but nothing can be ruled out in the world of sports entertainment.
