According to Xero News, WWE is set to give a big push to Japanese Superstar Shinsuke Nakamura towards the end of the year or early next year.

Triple H who is the current head of creative is reportedly a big fan of the star and he loved working with the king of strong style back in NXT.

Shinsuke Nakamura made his NXT debut in 2016 after leaving NJPW. He defeated Sami Zayn at the NXT TakeOver Dallas in a critically acclaimed match.

Nakamura then was called up to the main roster right after Wrestlemania 33 and received a massive push as he won the Royal Rumble 2017 and faced AJ Styles for the WWE title at Mania 34.

After turning heel on AJ Styles at Mania, Nakamura’s character did not live up to the expectations as he ended up losing match after match

He then won the intercontinental championship but was lost in the shuffle as he rarely was given an opportunity to defend his title on WWE TV.

Since Triple H took over from Vince, Nakamura was given some more chances to showcase his talents as his recent IC title match with Gunther received a lot of praise.

Triple H reportedly wants Nakamura to work a style similar to what he did back in NXT and this brings a lot of excitement among fans as Nakamura was a huge fan favourite back in the day.
