Former Smackdown General Manager Teddy Long urged WWE Creative Head Triple H to bring back former WCW star Bushwhacker Luke for the Royal Rumble match.

Luke is famous for his run in the WWE during the 80s as part of the famous tag team The Bushwhackers alongside his partner Bushwhacker Butch.

The tag team specialist is still an active wrestler on the indie circuit and Teddy Long believes that Triple H could bring the star back at the Rumble match.

Long talking to Sportskeeda Wrestling said that if the WCW veteran feels that he can still go then the WWE should consider bringing him back for the Rumble.

Luke in a recent interview opened up about his desire to make a surprise return to the company and would love to be part of the Rumble match.

The WWE veteran also had his memorable Royal Rumble moment in the past when he was eliminated in just 4 seconds during the 1991 Rumble match.

It'll be interesting to see whether Triple H will bring the 75-year-old veteran back for one more match in the WWE at the Rumble.

Royal Rumble Premium Live Event is set to happen at the Alamodome in San Antonio Texas on January 28th next year and it is one of the most anticipated WWE PLE in recent times.
