2023 brought many surprises to the wrestling business. WWE for sale was one of them.

This news came out after Vince Returned to WWE as the Executive chairman after he retired from the company last year amid sexual misconduct allegations.

His return did not interfere with the creative content of WWE, handled by Triple H. However, Vince surprised the world when he allegedly decided to sell the organization.

In the Wrestling Observation Newsletter, Dave Meltzer stated that WWE is likely to have a new owner by the end of the year. He also shared the amount every major stakeholder in WWE will get after the sale.

Dave also disclosed the fact that the presence of Vince McMahon during the negotiation will be a constraint rather than a help, and the 77-year-old might receive the largest share of the selling amount.

Meltzer estimated that the former WWE CEO might receive a whopping $2.5 billion from the deal, while the current WWE CCO, Triple H, will receive $8.3 million.

Stephanie McMahon will get $170.8m while Linda McMahon will make 50.3m. Kevin Dunn, Nick Khan, and Frank Riddick will make more than the Hunter as they will receive $24.2m, $13.8m, and $10.9m respectively.

WWE is the biggest wrestling entertainment company in the world, and its popularity has only increased since its foundation. It will be interesting to see the price tag at which WWE will be sold.
