The relationship between CM Punk and The WWE ended back in 2014 when the Straight Edge superstar was fired by the company on his wedding day.
Punk then made his much anticipated return to wrestling in 2021 when made his return to WWE's rival promotion, AEW. He also won the AEW World championship twice during his run there.
He grabbed the headlines recently when he was part of a backstage fight against Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks and got suspended and stripped of the AEW World title.
There are reports coming out that Tony Khan's company are planning to buy out Punk's contract and are planning to let their former World champion go following the backstage brawl.
Fightful select is now reporting that WWE and Triple H would be interested in the opportunity to sign Punk for the right money, creative and situation.
It'll be interesting to see whether Punk will make his return to the company that disrespected him. Having a star like Punk in their roster would benefit WWE massively.
Hollywood superstar Dwayne The Rock Johnson was involved in a game of rock paper scissors for charity.
