Former WWE superstar Fandango said that current WWE head of talent relations Triple H is the reason why he and Tyler Breeze were not released during the 2020 budget cuts.

WWE during the Covid pandemic decided to release multiple talents stating Budget cuts as the reason. Rusev, Good Brothers, Zack Ryder etc were let go by the company.

Speaking on the Cafe de Rene podcast, Fandango admitted that he was surprised when his name wasn't on the list of the superstars that were released.

The former Breezango member then revealed that it was Triple H who decided to stand up for him and his friend Breeze and saved the duo from getting fired in the middle of a pandemic.

But The Game couldn't protect the duo for too long as the two were released by the company later in 2021 during the budget cut releases.

Fandango also revealed that it was Vince McMahon's idea to form the tag team of Tyler Breeze and Fandango. The team was a huge success as they went on to win the NXT tag team championship.

Fans are now expecting the duo to make their return to the WWE after Triple H took over as the head of creative from Vince McMahon.

Fandango's return seems unlikely as he recently announced that he has signed for another promotion but Tyler Breeze looks likely to make his WWE return soon.
