According to several reports, The WWE has released around 5 of their current talents from their contracts.

According to PWInsider, Triple H has decided to let go of five of the NXT talents from his promotion.

One major name that was released is Chase University member Bodhi Hayward who has made multiple appearances on NXT in recent times.

Hayward was replaced by Australian superstar Duke Hudson on NXT this week as he accompanied fellow Chase U members during their match.

Sloane Jacobs, Erica Yan, Damaris Griffin, and Ru Feng were some other names that were released by the billion dollar company.

WWE used to release multiple talents during Vince McMahon's reign stating budget cuts as the reason but under Triple H WWE the number of releases became less.

Triple H has also brought several released stars back like Bray Wyatt, Braun Strowman etc. The NXT releases are understandable after NXT UK was disbanded.

There were reports coming that Triple H will give NXT stars a two year window to improve or they'll be released. It'll be interesting to see how many stars will survive under the new regime.
