Sasha Banks' WWE return was one of the most talked about topics among pro wrestling fans. After Triple H took over, fans were expecting Banks to return to the company.

According to Fightful Select, WWE recently negotiated the release of Banks and she will be a free agent from January 1st of next year.

Reports suggest that it was WWE and Triple H's decision not to rehire Sasha and it was not the other way around.

Fans were expecting Triple H and Banks to find a solution and make her return possible due to their good relationship from the NXT days but it looks like it won't be happening.

Dave Meltzer reported that Banks asked WWE for a massive amount of money to return to the company but the company denied it.

In the report, it's said that Banks asked for a salary similar to that of Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair to return but the higher-ups denied her demands.

Meltzer also said that the company feels that Sasha is past her prime and she's not seen by the WWE as someone who could be on the top for the next five years.

Sasha is set to appear at NJPW's Wrestle Kingdom 17 next month and there are rumors that she will be signing with AEW soon.
