Triple H and Stephanie McMahon Do Not Want Vince to Take Over WWE

WWE has been dynamic for some time since the departure of Vince McMahon in July 2022 and his return as the Executive Chairman of WWE in January 2023.

The departure led to Triple H becoming Chief Content Officer of WWE and organizing events like RAW is XXX and WWE Royal Rumble, successfully breaking attendance records.

However, the return of Vince caused WWE CEO Stephanie McMahon to resign. Rumors started to spread that Vince wanted to sell WWE to Saudi Arabia’s public investment fund.

Although the rumor appeared to be false, WWE fans believed that Triple H and Stephanie were firmly against Vince selling the company, as they wanted WWE under their control.

Instead, the Power Couple were in favor of selling the company to any interested firm, as long as it favored their logic, which was to get rid of Vince and his shareholdings in the company.

Dave Meltzer, while speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, shared his idea about how the Power Couple wanted to deal with Vince McMahon and reduce his supremacy in WWE.

"From what I am told, Paul and Stephanie, are not opposed to a sale, and they knew that at some those Vince’s shares were an albatross, and at some point, somebody had to get rid of those shares anyway or Vince would take over.” Said, Meltzer.

It is interesting to see how Vince McMahon deals with the situation and how Triple H and Stephanie plan to reduce the power and dominance Vince has over the company.
