Leon Edwards has had a tough road to the gold. The British fighter will attempt for the welterweight championship at UFC 278 against Kamaru Usman.
It won't be wrong to say that Leon Edwards is arguably the most unluckiest fighter in the UFC. Quite similar to Tony Ferguson.
And UFC President Dana White seems to agree. In a recent conversation with BT Sports, White had this to say about Leon Edwards.
"Leon is probably the unluckiest guy in the history of the division with all the things that have happened to him, but he is finally here and tomorrow night is his night."

Moreover, Dana White added that should Leon Edwards get a win over Kamaru Usman, a trilogy fight is guaranteed.
While Usman is a huge favorite to win the fight, there's no denying the unpredictable nature of a mixed martial arts.
"Yeah, you would definitely get a trilogy, it would make sense, yes." White said on the possibility of Edwards vs Usman 3.
Do you think Leon Edwards can triumph over Leon Edwards and open the idea of a trilogy fight?

Dana White says Kamaru Usman is the welterweight GOAT and not Georges St-Pierre. Here's what he said.
