38-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the greatest and most legendary footballers of all time. The Portugal national team forward made his international debut at the age of 18.
Cristiano, the 5-time Ballon d'Or awardee with 32 trophies from his career, is the first athlete to earn great recognition in his professional life as the highest-paid and most remarkable athlete.
After signing up with Manchester United in 2003, Cristiano got partnered with Nike, which led to a lifetime deal worth $1 billion in 2016 along with his signature Nike CR7 Mercurial collection.
To commemorate his debut season at Juventus in 2019, Nike launched the Mercurial Superfly limited edition in a classic black, white, and golden combination pair along with a 'CR7STIANO' typography.
Inspired by the 2010 CR7 Mercurial collection, Nike CR7 Spark Positivity Superfly was launched in 2020 for UEFA Euro. The cleat has a red and white combination of lighting bolts with a Portuguese flag.
Initially released in 2010, Nike launched the Mercurial Superfly VII "Safari” in 2020 with the previous Safari print. The new one, however, features a cheetah print along with the CR7 signature logo.
The Nike CR7 Mercurial Dream Speed 4 launched in 2021 provides a red-yellow gradient look with miniatures of white and black racing flag. It was re-released in a vapor version for other players, too.
Launched in 2022, the Nike Zoom Mercurial Superfly 9 Elite is inspired by the azulejo tilework of Portugal in blue on a white surface. The shoe was donned by him at the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
