Entering the 2023–24 season, the NBA, comprising of new debutants and emerging stars in its roster in majority, has players in attendance at a much higher seniority level in comparison

From LeBron James to Chris Paul, P.J. Tucker, Taj Gibson, Kyle Lowry, and more, these currently active NBA players are being projected among the oldest players to be entering this season.

Toronto Raptors 2019 champion Kyle Lowry joins the list of the oldest NBA players representing the league at the age of 37, currently in his 17th season with the Miami Heat franchise.

2009 drafted Washington Wizards forward and center 6-foot-9 Taj Gibson is, however, the next on the list, blonging to the 38-year-old age group itself, currently in his 14th season in the NBA.

Entering the 38 year age group, Golden State Warriors recently traded and greatest point guard Chris Paul, with a prominent career of 18 seasons, is making his 15th season with the Warriors.

Drafted in 2006 by the Toronto Raptors, Philadelphia 76ers forward P.J. Tucker, who won an NBA championship as part of the Milwaukee Bucks team, credits his 38 years of professional experience.

Carrying an eminent personality as the Los Angeles Lakers star, LeBron James is on his way to mark and add yet another season of his NBA career, continuing forward as a 39-year-old player.

Besides the ones mentioned, Garrett Temple, Al Horford, Rudy Gay, Jeff Green, and Wesley Matthews are also currently on the NBA list of old players carrying more than 14 seasons of their careers.
