A majority of NBA players as part of the league have established their careers at quite a young age and have managed to keep track of their professional and personal lives at an equal stage.

However, this was not the case for a majority of star players who had married off and had to carry on the responsibility of a parent at the onset of their emerging professional career in the NBA.

From LeBron James to Dwayne Wade and Stephen Curry, these players took over the responsibility of raising a family quite soon while having to juggle on to their respective career performances.

Carrying a seniority level, NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal saw parenthood at 24 years of age with the birth of his first daughter, Taahirah O'Neal, from his past relationship with Arnetta Yardbourgh.

Married to his longtime girlfriend Ayesha in 2011, GSW star Stephen Curry, entering the third season of his career as a 23-year-old youngster, achieved fatherhood with the birth of Riley Curry.

Former NBA star and Lakers champion Lamar Odom's parenthood journey began a year prior to his draft as a 19-year-old prospect with the birth of his daughter Destiny from ex-girlfriend Liza Morales.

2002: Dwayne Wade, after being selected as the 5th overall pick by the Miami Heat, entered the league carrying the responsibility of a father from his first marriage with Siohvaughn Funches.

As one of the youngest draft prospects in the league in 2003, LeBron James and his girlfriend, now wife Savannah, achieved parenthood at the young age of 19, welcoming their elder son, Bronny James.
