Top 5 Hardest Weight Cutters in UFC

UFC fighters are divided based on their weights in classes. However, some fighters cut down their natural weight to fit in a class lower than their original one to gain an advantage of size over others.

These fighters put their bodies through extremes, which might sound almost atrocious to laymen. Often, after going through such extreme weight cuts, fighters look sick or dead, even zombie-like.

Daniel Cormier has a history of winning titles in two divisions by cutting his weight. His most insane weight cut is considered to be the one before UFC 210, where he had to fight Anthony Johnson.

Yoel Romero has a huge frame to qualify for 185 pounds yet he has a history of going through severe weight cuts several times which he sometimes missed. His worst cut was against Whittaker at UFC 225.

Darren Till naturally weighs around 200 pounds. So he was probably the biggest man to compete in the 170-pound category. His worst cut was against Stephen Thompson, where he missed by 3.5 pounds.

The former UFC bantamweight champion, T.J. Dillashaw, dropped his weight to compete against Cejudo for Flyweight after defending the Bantamweight title twice. He lost to Cejudo within one minute.

Gleison Tibau simply had one of the most iconic weight cuts of all time. He cut his weight down from 200 lbs to 155 lbs, which might have resulted in health issues, against Evan Dunham at UFC 156.

These fighters had to undergo severe dehydration and other techniques to lose an insane amount of weight in such a short period of time, which often gave them lasting and severe health issues.
