EA Sports is all set to launch their fifth edition of UFC on October 27 and recently revealed the athletes who will grace the cover of the highly anticipated game.

The highly acclaimed skills and techniques of these fighters in the octagon have made them the perfect choices for players who would love to dive right into the vivid world of the UFC.

Coming in to make a mark on the cover, the former women's flyweight champion, Valentina Shevchenko, and current featherweight champion, Alexander Volkanovski, will feature on the standard version.

Although he made an appearance on the cover of UFC 4 three years ago, the current middleweight champion, Israel Adesanya, is back on the deluxe edition for UFC 5.

Arguably one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world, Adesanya has proven to be worthy of featuring himself since his UFC 4 feature, where he was considered a rising contender.

UFC's last video game was released all the way back in 2020, which is considerably the longest stretch between games in the series' history, in contrast to its releases coming every two years.

The reasons behind its failure over such a long stretch and slower development between UFC 4 and UFC 5 were mainly the COVID-19 pandemic and the launch of the PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles.

However, EA Sports is still rolling out the upcoming release, and fight fans are expecting concrete details about the releases in the coming weeks.
