Tony Ferguson was supposed to fight Li Jingliang in the co-main event, but Chimaev missing the weight landed him the opportunity to fight Diaz in the main event.

Tony Ferguson told UFC Chief Business Officer Hunter Campbell that to accept the fight against Nate Diaz, he will take a spin around in Campbell’s Bentley.

Nate Diaz won the fight by submission in the fourth round. The overall fight was competitive, voilent and entertaining.

This was Nate Diaz's last remaining fight in his UFC contract. He is most likely now retired from the sport.

This was Ferguson's fifth consecutive loss in the UFC. He is yet to win a fight since 2019. Ferguson was making his welterweight return after more than a decade.

Fans are now calling Ferguson's retirement, saying that he is ruining his legacy.
