To Punish Triple H, Vince McMahon Fired His Close Friend From WWE

Former WWE writer Vince Russo believes that Vince McMahon fired Triple H's friend Road Dogg from the WWE back in 2021 as a punishment to his son-in-law.

Russo talking to Sportskeeda said that while Triple H was away from his roles due to health issues, Vince decided to release all the employees that Hunter had hired.

Russo also said that this incident led to Vince's daughter Stephanie McMahon taking a leave of absence from the company by stating personal issues as the reason.

While Triple H was away, Vince McMahon took charge of Triple H's promotion, NXT, and changed the entire presentation of the show by renaming it NXT 2.0. Hunter reportedly wasn't happy with this.

Russo feels that Vince McMahon was either sick in his head or he wanted some sort of payback from his daughter's husband.

Road Dogg eventually made his return to the promotion after Vince McMahon left his role and Triple H and Stephanie McMahon were in charge of the company.

Now after Vince's recent return to the company, the futures of some of the talents and employees that Triple H brought back are really under threat.

Triple H already gave assurance to his employees that Vince's arrival won't affect the current functioning of the promotion but fans and talents are fearing that things will soon change.
