This Man Completely Changed Francis Ngannou

Francis Ngannou was not always the smartest fighter inside the octagon.

His brute strength and knockout power won him many fights in his early UFC career.

However, in the first fight Stipe Miocic made him realise that he was not ready for the UFC title then.

Following the loss to Stipe Miocic, Francis Ngannou left his gym, MMA factory and his long time coach, Fernand Lopez.

Francis Ngannou joined Xtreme Couture and trained with coach Eric Nicksick (head coach) and Dewey Cooper (striking coach).

After working with Eric Nicksick, Francis Ngannou's striking and grappling ability improved significantly.

Eric Nicksick made Ngannou an unstoppable heavyweight champion, by sharpening his striking accuracy.

Ngannou was extremely accurate with his striking against Stipe Miocic in the rematch. And his grappling was on point when he took on former teammate, Ciryl Gane.

Francis Ngannou has an opportunity to cement his legacy as one of the greatest of all time as he prepares for a potential fight against Jon Jones.
