LeBron James, one of the GOATs of NBA has a current net worth of US $1.2 billion. Forbes also estimated that he has earned "$ 900 million income from endorsements and other business ventures."

Michael Jordan on the other hand has a worth of $1.6 billion. As per Forbes’ estimation, ‘His salary during his career totaled $90 million, but he has earned $1.8 billion (pre-tax) from corporate partners….’

Even though being two of the richest NBA players, their wealth doesn't come close to this former basketball player.

Mat Ishbia is currently the CEO and president of the Michigan-based United Wholesale Mortgage. He has a 71% stake in the company. He will also be soon buying the sports franchises- NBA's Phoenix Suns and WNBA's Phoenix Mercury for $4 billion.

Mat was a walk-on basketball player at Michigan State while pursuing his graduate degree in Business Administration. He played 48 games for Michigan and helped them win the national championship in 2000.

Mat Ishbia is the only individual who has pledged $32 million to Michigan State's athletic department.

Since Mat has a net worth of $4.7 billion, Forbes ranks him #572 in the world's real-time Billionaires. He is wealthier than LeBron James and Michael Jordan.

Ishbia is also wealthier than Shaquille O'Neal who has a net worth of $450 million and Stephen Curry who has a net worth of $160 million.

Ishbia's brother Justin is also a billionaire who owns 22% of UWM Holdings. He will also accompany Mat in purchasing the Phoenix teams.
