The Shakira-Pique fallout was one of the most shocking turns of events in the soccer fraternity. The duo looked so good together, and they were idolized by many young couples.
Their relationship, however, could not withstand Pique's extramarital affair storm. Shakira was heartbroken after hearing the news of Pique's infidelity with a 23-year-old student, Clara Chia.
Shakira did everything she could to cope with the heartbreak, including producing a diss track on Pique and his parents, which helped her deal with the depression.
Meanwhile, Shakira grabbed some attention after an interview in which she talked about Pique's current girlfriend.
When asked about Clara, Shakira said, "There is a place in hell reserved for women who don’t support other women. When a woman has to face life’s battles, she comes out stronger."
Shakira also stated the situation she faced post-breakup as she said, "That strength comes out of experiencing a painful loss, of tolerating frustration, of understanding that life doesn’t always bring us what we want."
This is not the only time that Shakira has been vocal regarding Clara; in her diss track, she calls out Pique, trolling Clara, and says, "You traded a Ferrari for a Twingo, you traded a Casio for a Rolex."
