On October 10, 2019, Errol Spence Jr. survived a horrifying car accident that altered his perspective and led him to seek solace in a new passion.

Spence purchased a 60-acre ranch in DeSoto, Texas, to escape the hustle of city life and enjoy tranquilly with his family. The ranch provided a fresh start and a new outlook.

After escaping death, Spence embraced his newfound lease on life. He immersed himself in ranch life and discovered the calming effect and therapeutic benefits of horseback riding.

Introduced to horses by a friend, Spence quickly fell in love with them. He now owns ten horses, finding the experience of riding them to be both therapeutic and peaceful.

Among his horses, Spence has a favourite named Little Mama. Their unique connection and affectionate nature make her stand out, capturing his attention and sparking a special bond.

Due to a retinal tear in his left eye, Spence's boxing career was temporarily on hold. During his recovery, he planned to spend more time on the ranch, enjoying the company of his horses.

Spence finds true happiness in being content with life and prioritising family and simple pleasures. While he desires further success in boxing, it is not his sole focus or source of happiness.

Furthermore, Errol Spence and Terrence Crawford are set to clash on July 29 at Las Vegas' T-Mobile Arena. The fight promises to be an electrifying encounter between two elite boxers.
