Dwayne Johnson recently made headlines after he announced that his recent film Black Adam won't be a part of the franchise's future moving forward.

After the appointment of James Gunn and Peter Safran as the CEOs of the studio, the decision is to take the franchise in a different direction which doesn't include a second Black Adam movie.

Noah Centineo who played the role of Atom Smasher in Johnson's Black Adam movie recently spoke to "The Hollywood Reporter" about the whole situation.

"I honestly can’t even speak to any of that. I don’t really know what their plan is, and I’m psyched to see what they do with the DC world…

For me, I’m just really excited to see Peter Safran and James Gunn‘s vision for DC, those guys, they know what they’re doing. So, we’ll give it to him. I’m excited." He said. (h/t: Screen Rant)

Fan-favorite actor Henry Cavill was also removed from his role as Superman after Gunn and Safran's appointment. Cavill was recently brought back by Dwayne Johnson for Black Adam.

It looks like Dwayne Johnson's role in the DCEU is over as it looks unlikely that he will return to the franchise any time soon and fans are really disappointed with Gunn's decision.

The Hollywood megastar is currently rumored to make his return to the WWE soon and he is rumored to face his cousin Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 39 in April.
