Hulk Hogan is perhaps the most important figure in pro-wrestling history.
Hogan's natural physical charisma and presence propelled wrestling into its first boom period in the 80's.
You can even argue that without Hulk Hogan, WWE wouldn't be where it is today.
When he beat the Iron Sheik to become the WWF Champion, he was introduced as "The Incredible" Hulk Hogan, which sparked a negotiation between WWF & Marvel.
Signed in 1985, it stated that Hulk Hogan could not use the likeness of their titular character and had to pay $100 for every match he wrestled for the next 20 years.
