MMA journalist Ariel Helwani thinks that it is the end of the road for former UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic.

Often considered the best heavyweight of all time, Miocic has clinched the heavyweight belt twice, losing it first time to Daniel Cormier and the second time to Francis Ngannou.

"I wouldn't be surprised if this marks the end of Stipe's career. Stipe is going to go off into the night very quietly...It wouldn't shock me if we never see [Miocic] again." Helwani on the MMA Hour.

Jon Jones recently called out Stipe Miocic for a fight at the UFC 282 this year as his comeback fight.

Jones tweeted, "I'm bringing all the heat @Stipemiocic, I got that fire you could never put out. Sign the contract #UFC282"

Jon Jones has been out of UFC for nearly three years now, he had to vacate his light-heavyweight title as he was having contract issues with the UFC.

As of now, it seems like Miocic has failed to sign the contract which has put the former champion's UFC future in jeopardy.

Helwani also believes that now Jones will most probably be matched against the current champ Francis Ngannou for a fight in March 2023.
