Stephen Curry is one of the greatest basketball players with a huge social media following. He has always been the best shooter in the NBA. He is known for his flawless 3-point shooting skill, which he seldom misses.

Curry has already made more than 3,000 from beyond the arc. He even broke Allen Ray’s previously set 3-point shooting records.

Stephen Curry’s mother, Sonia Curry, once revealed that he was advised by her to alter his dunking technique and was given other thoughts about it.

Once Steph’s mother Sonia Curry and his father Dell Curry discussed how they raised their kids during their podcast. Sonya admitted that as Stephen's TO% decreased, she stopped requesting financial assistance from him.

Sonia Curry said in the same podcast: This year, I threatened to fine him for missed dunks. I was like if you try that one more time, it is driving me crazy.”

Curry used to pay Sonya a portion of his earnings whenever he made too many turnovers. Sonya said that she asked Stephen to give fines rather than turnover because this would prevent him from doing extra things when he felt bored and looked terrible.

Dell Curry the former NBA player and also Stephen’s father claimed that he used to turn over the ball as he was unable to make creative passes or execute "hotdog" moves. Dell said that they always made sure as parents that their son Stephen received proper training.

Dell stated that when scouts observed Curry in college, they thought he was fragile. Additionally, he had a history of injuries in his younger days. There was constant skepticism about whether he would ever have a successful NBA career, but those questions have already been settled with time.
