Stephen Curry has a net worth of $160 million. However, he likes to spend his money buying houses, cars, an entire golf course, and the most expensive shoes.

In 2021, Curry thought about investing in NFTs and immediately bought a bored ape NFT for $180,000 from the Bored Yacht Club, joining the boom in digital assets.

According to the Bored Ape Yacht Club profile on the NFT auction platform OpenSea, Stephen Curry made the acquisition for 55 ether on August 28, 2021.

The following year, he went on a shopping binge and bought numerous NFTs, which included a pet NFT, a cat girl on a phone, and a girl anime.

He had then spent $300,000 on NFT wallet in the hope of getting richer. He has made his desire to buy such digital assets public by updating his Twitter profile photo.

But suddenly in 2022, things fell apart for Curry as crypto got crushed due to a huge sell-off that erased more than 200 billion dollars from the entire crypto market.

Crypto immediately crashed, making the value of Curry’s NFT go down severely in the same year.

Steph has already lost over half of his investment, or $150,000 if we sum up all of the NFTs in his wallet. So, he regretted later taking the decision to spend on NFTs.
