In a recent discussion with Buzzfeed, NBA star and Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry revealed his All-Time starting five, keeping his own name on the list. "I won't be on the team."

Curry's statement and choices, however, reflect his selective line-up of retired and legendary NBA players as part of the league’s history and carrying their own legacy.

Curry's selection of Magic Johnson at the point guard position stands justified as an exceptional player with a height of 6-foot-9 and several achievements earned throughout his career.

NBA G.O.A.T Michael Jordan was chosen as the shooting guard because he was part of two prominent franchises, had a prominent career and achievements, and was a dominant clutch player.

Curry's selection of Kobe Bryant instead of Larry Bird as the small forward is quite unusual with his profile as a dominant shootin guard, but his versatility provided him with the role.

Tim Duncan, as the power forward, reflects his 19 years of career performance as a consistent player and top scorer, with great rebounding and blocking skills along with his role as a center, too.

Curry's selection of Shaquille O’Neal as the center was one of the prominent ones, with his physical stature and dunks considered among the top 10 All-Time rankings of NBA centers at No. 2 in 2019.

With no selection of any current players in the league, Stephen Curry stands today in the All-time list, starting five alongside NBA stars and experiencing players like LeBron James and Kevin Durant.
