Nico Mannion was asked in an interview how he made Stephen Curry spit out his water by the bench during a time-out. "What was so funny?"
Curry was walking behind Nico as he whispered something to him, he burst out laughing and splashed water all over.
Nico replied that Stephen doesn't talk much usually, he is a quiet guy but that day they had a funny moment. It was during the covid times and they played Timberwolves at home.
Nico added, the gym was empty, there were only 500 people, 2-3 in a row and they called timeout. At that time Steph was staring at the bench and suddenly yelled 'boom'.
After the timeout, Steph turned out at everybody and again yelled 'boom' to which Nico replied "give another boom". This cracked up Steph and he splashed water all over as he burst out laughing.
That was Stephen Curry's funny moment during the match as Steph usually speaks very less and stays quiet most of the time.
Stephen was seen in a different form that day, which was quite unusual. He joked and laughed all over.
Earlier in an interview, Nico told about Stephen that in a players-only scrimmage he had his first experience with guardian Curry. It served as his welcoming moment in NBA and made Steph stand out as a legend for him.
