Cristiano Ronaldo is considered one of the best soccer players of all time. He has had a stellar career filled with loads of trophies.

The Portuguese star has won 5 Ballon d'Ors so far courtesy of his exceptional ball striking. He is currently the leading goal scorer with 814 goals.

Cristiano's grit and determination have led him to great success. His adamancy on persisting with a strict routine of various exercises has enhanced his fitness to another level.

Although Ronaldo is in the final leg of his career, his physique looks better and better, and this isn't only because of his workouts; he has also been very careful and particular about his daily food intake.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo's diet has been widely followed by various other soccer athletes to excel in their respective fields; however, it didn't go well for a Brazilian professional soccer player.

According to reports, Palmeiras star Gabriele Menino had a near-death experience trying to copy the Al-Nassr striker's diet, which revolves around eggs, grilled fish, meat, and salad with supplements.

During an interview, Menino said, "I wanted to lose weight a bit and gain more muscle. I spoke to the nutritionist & said I wanted to go on Cristiano's diet."

He further added," On the second day of following the diet, I ran for 5 minutes after which I fell and was going to die from this diet." Sources also state some cooling gel and isotonic drinks made him feel better.
