Although Serena Williams is retired and Venus' tennis career is about to expire, they have shown throughout their athletic lives that there is still much more to come.

After turning professional in 1994, Venus Williams' sister joined her on the WTA Tour in 1995. Since then, no female athlete has come close to earning as much money as they did.

Serena was the sole female athlete on the Forbes list of the top 100 athletes in the world in 2019. She was the first athlete to ever appear on Forbes' list of America's Richest Self-Made Women two years later, and she continued to do so until 2022.

Serena has earned just about $95 million from on-court victories, which is twice as much as Venus, the next female player on the list. Forbes estimates her net worth to be $260 million in 2022.

Venus's estimated net worth is $95 million, in contrast. This is made up of $42 million in on-court revenue, and the other money is from investments, endeavors, and sponsorships.

Gatorade, Delta, Aston Martin, Pepsi, IBM, Intel, Chase Bank, and Beats by Dre headphones are just a few of Serena Williams' many sponsorship partnerships.

The eldest Williams sibling secured a contract with Reebok in 1995 when she was just 14 years old. Throughout her career, she has also had endorsement deals with Wilson, Tide, Kraft, Electronic Arts, Ralph Lauren, and Lacoste.

The sisters have been praised for helping to reverse past economic gaps in tennis and sports in general. They were also at the forefront of the movement for wage equality in tennis.
