Shaquille O’Neal’s Investment in $3.49 Billion Company Is His Favorite

Basketball legend Shaquille O'Neal has invested in a variety of ventures over the course of his career, both before and after his time in the NBA.

O'Neal's net worth is estimated to be over $400 million, and he makes roughly $60 million from his franchises every year.

O'Neal has invested in a number of franchises, including Auntie Anne's, Krispy Kreme, and Five Guys Burgers and Fries, he also opened his own restaurant, "Shaquille's."

When asked about his favorite brand during a Wall Street Journal interview, O'Neal responded, "Krispy Kreme."

“My favorite one right now is Krispy Kreme. I’ve had relationships with 24-hour Fitness, Five Guys… But you know, my favorite one right now is Krispy Kreme. Cuz I like donuts, and Charles Barkley loves donuts. And he’s my biggest customer.” said O'Neal.

“No, but Krispy Kreme is a fabulous donut. I was introduced to it in college, and been in love with it ever since." he continued "I’ve got a few franchises. I’m looking to get more. I wanna be a large part of that business.”

Shaquille O'Neal has had a long-standing relationship with Krispy Kreme and he has been a franchise owner and spokesperson for the company.

Shaq's partnership with Krispy Kreme has been a successful one, and the sales of Krispy Kreme have increased thanks to O'Neal's popularity.
