Shaquille O’Neal’s "Explicit" Response to Angel Reese after LSU's Win

When LSU won the national championship earlier this month, former NBA star Shaquille O’Neal was quick to praise Angel Reese, the Tigers' star player.

However, Reese revealed in a recent interview that she had to call O’Neal and ask him to tone down the superlatives he was using to describe her.

O’Neal called Reese the greatest Tigers athlete ever, putting her over himself, Joe Burrow, Lolo Jones, and Pete Maravich. But Reese didn't feel comfortable with such high praise and called O’Neal.

"I called him after that, and I was like, ‘You know how much pressure you just put on me? You know how much?’" Reese said during an appearance on "The Breakfast Club" in New York City.

However, O’Neal wasn't bothered by her request to tone down his remarks. "I don't give a f---," he told her.

Reese felt that she had not yet accomplished enough to deserve such praise. "I won a championship, but I just don’t feel like I’ve done enough. I don’t think I’ve done enough," she said.

Reese was named the most outstanding player. She averaged 23 points, 15.4 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.8 steals, and 1.6 blocks per game throughout the season.

Although Reese received criticism for an on-court altercation with Caitlin Clark, Reese led her team to the title and was praised by O'Neal for her outstanding play.
