Playmaker HQ, a well-known sports media organization, has recently published its list of the top 10 NBA players of all time. NBA fans appear to be very critical of and outraged about the list.
The late Kobe Bryant, a five-time NBA champion and legendary member of the Los Angeles Lakers, was not included in the list which is why Shaq became disappointed.
Even though LeBron James is at the top of the list, the fans don't appear happy. A former NBA player Nate Robinson said: “MJ #1 and Kobe #3” denying the top spot for LeBron.
As per the rankings of the top 10 players in the NBA, LeBron James has been placed in the first position, followed by Michael Jordan in the second, and Stephen Curry in the third. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Shaquille O’Neal have been ranked as 4th and 5th respectively.
Shaquille O'Neal joined the supporters in denouncing his teammate's treatment in his Instagram post. Shaquille O’Neal said: “Y’all agree with this, I don’t. They missing main man KOBE”.
Fans also appreciated the fact that Shaq has put up the truth that Kobe has been disrespected. A fan said: “This is unacceptable, where 24?”, another fan commented: “Any list without Kobe is invalid”, completely agreeing with Shaq.
The fans believe the list to be wildly inaccurate. Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlin, and Larry Bird, three of the greatest NBA icons, appear to have fallen further down the list.
The NBA community considers LeBron, Kobe, and Michael Jordan to be the top 3. They also wanted the Greek Freak and Timmy D of the Spurs to be included. There appears to be a lot of competition and controversy among the fans regarding the ranking of the top 10 NBA players.
