The three-time NBA champion Shaquille O'Neal has some advice for LeBron's former teammate Russell Westbrook.

O'Neal told Candace Parker and Nichelle Turner that Westbrook should sign with the LA Clippers.

“I think Russ should go to the Clippers,” O’Neal said. He continued, “Him and Ty Lue speak the same language. Russ is gonna give you the assists. He’s gonna give you energy. He’s gonna make some mistakes, but sometimes you just have to let him go. He’s not the player that you control.”

Westbrook was traded to the Utah Jazz during the NBA trade deadline. According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the Clippers and Chicago Bulls are interested in Westbrook if he gets bought out by the Jazz.

During every home game, Westbrook was booed by the fans and was given the nickname "Russell Westbrick."

According to O'Neal, Westbrook will be appreciated by the Clippers' fans since he plays hard.

“I know for a fact that Clippers fans would appreciate him,”  said Shaquille. “Lakers fans and Clippers fans are two totally different fan bases.”

Westbrook and Paul George of the Clippers were former teammates in the Oklahoma Thunder and had a good rapport. Joining Paul with the Clippers would be the best option for Westbrook.
