The LA Lakers' legend LeBron James finally broke the scoring record of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, which is 38,387 points, on Tuesday night.

LeBron James scored 36 points for the Los Angeles Lakers while they played against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday. However, the Lakers lost the game 133–130 to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

LeBron James denied the pressure from Shaquille O’Neal to declare himself the G.O.A.T. of the NBA in the postgame interview on ‘Inside the NBA’ on TNT. However, LeBron declared that he was satisfied to be at the top alongside the best players.

On the same day, Shaq asked LeBron on the NBA TNT show: "Does this now make you the greatest player of all time?  Are you now the GOAT?”

LeBron James replied: “I’m going to let everybody else decide who that is or just talk about it, but it’s great barbershop talk. I'm gonna take myself against anybody that's ever played this game.”

LeBron continued: “But everyone’s going to have their favorite, everyone’s going to decide who their favorite is. But I know what I’ve brought to the table, I know what I bring tot he table every single night and what I can do out on this floor.”

James also added: “I always feel like I’m the best to ever play this game, but there are so many other great ones and I’m just happy to be a part of their journey.”

O’Neal again said laughingly: “I want to hear you say it Bron Bron. … say it with your chest Bron Bron….”, pushing LeBron to confess that he is the G.O.A.T.

Shaq also stated that he no longer wants people to debate who was the greatest basketball player to ever play in the NBA since LeBron James rightfully holds that distinction.
