Sasha Banks Sends a Message to Triple H After Quitting WWE

Former WWE superstar Sasha Banks made her return to the professional wrestling ring on Wednesday at Wrestle Kingdom 17 at the Tokyo Dome.

She made her NJPW debut under the name Mercedes Mone and attacked the IWGP Women's Champion Kairi Sane and challenged her for a future match.

This was her first appearance in a wrestling promotion after she walked out of the WWE in May 2022 alongside her tag team partner Naomi due to creative differences.

The former Raw Women's Champion sent a host of thank-you notes on her Twitter account before making her NJPW debut.

She thanked the WWE Creative Head Triple H, former boss Vince McMahon, the WWE fans, and several others on her Twitter account.

Banks has been in the WWE from 2012 till 2021 and has won multiple championships during her time at the Stamford-based promotion.

Fans were really excited to see her make the return to the squared circle and she is expected to have some great matches in Japan.

Mercedes is rumored to sign with AEW soon as fans expect her to be revealed as Saraya's mystery partner at the January 11th edition of Dynamite.
