Ronda Rousey's WWE Future in Jeopardy as Triple H Cancels Her Match

WWE reportedly isn't planning to utilize Ronda Rousey at the 2023 Royal Rumble premium live event next weekend.

WWE pays top stars like Rousey big bucks to be booked on major stadium shows like this one. Her absence from television stands out and is very interesting to think about.

The Baddest Woman on the Planet(Ronda)  was a surprise entrant in last year's women's Royal Rumble, winning it and earning a SmackDown Women's Championship.

Charlotte Flair returned on SmackDown, confronting WWE SmackDown Women's Champion Ronda Rousey.

She had been out of action since WrestleMania Backlash in May 2022, where she lost an ‘I Quit’ match to Ronda Rousey for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

Flair immediately challenged the energy-drained Ronda after the match with Raquel Rodriguez. The match started and Flair converted the armbar from Ronda into a pin winning the Women's title.

Ronda was initially planned for a rematch against Charlotte at the Royal Rumble. But, some latest reports suggest that the idea was scrapped, however, the reports haven't been confirmed yet.

Rousey is the only woman to be the champion in both UFC and WWE and the only woman to headline PPV events in both companies. It'll be interesting to see what will be WWE's plans for her future.
