Former WWE Women's Champion Ronda Rousey made her surprise return to the WWE on this week's edition of Friday Night Smackdown and took out veteran superstar Natalya.

Rousey has been absent from WWE TV ever since she lost her Smackdown Women's Championship to Charlotte Flair in a surprising fashion in December.

Natalya on this week's Smackdown decided to poke fun at former NXT Women's Champion Shayna Baszler by calling her a "Cheap Knock-off version of Ronda Rousey."

Baszler interrupted Natalya during the promo segment and took issue with her comments and claimed that she is unhappy with people comparing her to Ronda Rousey.

Rousey then came out and after a brief face-off with Baszler, the duo started attacking Natalya. Shotzi tried to make the save but the former MMA stars were able to take her out as well.

Fans on social media had interesting responses to the UFC legend's return to the company as many felt that the reaction that she got was very underwhelming.

Rousey since her return at Royal Rumble in 2022 was unable to replicate her previous run as many fans felt that Rousey looked disinterested in her second run. Some even urged the WWE to fire her.

It'll be interesting to see what the future plans are for Rousey heading into Wrestlemania 39. According to rumors, a feud between Ronda and Shayna is one direction that the WWE is looking at.
