The Survivor Series fallout edition of Smackdown was held last week from the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York.

Two major names that were missing from the show were WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Smackdown Women's Champion Ronda Rousey.

Rousey's friend Shayna Baszler was in action on Smackdown against Emma and was confronted by Shotzi and Raquel Rodriguez after the match but Rousey didn't show up to help her MMA friend.

This led to speculation among fans regarding Rousey's WWE future after #FireRondaRousey started trending following her match against Shotzi at Survivor Series Wargames.

Ronda's championship match against Shotzi received a lot of criticism from the fans as the match quality was below average and it also had several botches.

According to reports, the reason for Rousey's absence from last week's Smackdown was that she was doing PR for the company following Survivor Series Wargames.

Rousey's future with the company is reportedly secure as the company are not considering firing her despite the fan backlash.

The company reportedly has huge plans for Rousey leading to WrestleMania and the rumored Mania opponent for "The Baddest Woman on the Planet" is "The Man" Becky Lynch.
