Pele is considered one of the greats of football and rightly so as he has done so much for the sport and has been a role model for so many youngsters.
Pele is claimed to have scored a total of 1283. His exceptional efforts have propelled brazil to 3 world cup victories.
However, recently the sad news broke out of his demise following his deteriorating health conditions which has brought tears to many faces.
Cristiano Ronaldo who is regarded as one of the most prolific footballers of this generation couldn't resist and poured his emotions out as he hit Instagram to give his condolences to pele
Ronaldo shared a picture of him with the "Black pearl" and wrote, "My deepest condolences to all of Brazil, and in particular, to the family of Mr. Edson Arantes do Nascimento.
He further added, "A mere "goodbye" to the eternal King Pele will never be enough to express the pain that embraces the whole world of football at this moment. An inspiration for so many millions.
Apart from the Portuguese no.7 many other football players such as Messi and Mbappe shared their prayers and thoughts for Pele and his family on Twitter.
Meanwhile, the US and French President has also offered their condolences which showcases the magnitude of love and respect for Pele for what he has achieved in his wonderful career.
