FIFA recently conducted an award ceremony, and elite soccer players attended the function. The awards were designated based on the player's performance in the 2022 World Cup.

As soon as the ceremony concluded, the internet was subject to havoc courtesy of diehard Ronaldo fans because they weren't pleased with FIFA's decision-making.

The fans have accused the award function of being partial towards some players, and they have termed the 2023 FIFA Awards as "rigged."

Lionel Messi for his brilliant performance in the 2022 FIFA world cup scoring 7 goals and 3 assists, was awarded as the best FIFA men's player of the year.

Fans were not upset with that decision; however, the panel's decision not to include the Portuguese no. 7 in the FIFPRO starting 11 infuriated the Ronaldo fan club.

Erling Halland, Karim Benzema, Lionel Messi, and Kylian Mbappe were preferred ahead of Ronaldo for their attack.

Reacting to this blunder, A fan tweeted," The competition should be renamed to “FIFA the best Argentine award”

Another netizen in sarcasm typed, "I don't see Ronaldo in the Best 11. Weird. In other news, water is wet." There isn't any sort of response from Ronaldo but deep inside he must be in agony.
