WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns on this week's Smackdown suffered his second loss of the year after losing against John Cena and Kevin Owens.

Cena and Owens were able to get the job done after the former Universal Champion pinned Sami Zayn to pick up the win for his team.

Even though he wasn't pinned, Reigns will also have to take responsibility as he registered his second loss of 2022.

Roman's first loss of the year happened at last year's Royal Rumble Premium Live Event where he lost to his former Shield teammate Seth Rollins via disqualification.

The Tribal Chief hasn't been pinned or submitted since 2019 and his last clean loss in the WWE came in a match against Baron Corbin.

It'll be interesting to see how Reigns will respond to his recent loss as fans expect the Tribal Chief to punish Sami Zayn for costing his team the match.

There are rumors that the WWE are planning to do a Roman Reigns vs Kevin Owens feud for Royal Rumble and fans are expecting the two superstars to hit it out of the park at the PLE.

According to reports, Reigns will be dropping one of his championships before Wrestlemania and it'll be interesting to see how Triple H and co will book the Tribal Chief moving forward.
