We don't get to see Roman Reigns as frequently as maybe we have all become accustomed to.

The Tribal Chief currently works on a different schedule as his current contract allows him to make sporadic appearance.

Recently, Reigns made his WWE return on SmackDown to defend his WWE titles for the first time since WrestleMania 38.

Reigns took on Riddle in what was a highly entertaining match. While Reigns emerged victorious, it did not come without a challenge from Riddle, who almost shocked the WWE universe with a near-fall on the Tribal Chief.

The title defense marked the first singles match for Roman Reigns since WrestleMania 38, where he took on Brock Lesnar.

Earlier, Reigns did not show-up at WWE Hell in a Cell and is set to miss Money in the Bank premium live event as well.

However, the Tribal Chief will defend his gold at the biggest event of Summer, WWE SummerSlam 2022.

Reigns' opponent? His former adversary, Brock Lesnar.

Brock Lesnar made his WWE return on SmackDown following Reigns' win over Riddle on SmackDown. Lesnar was last seen at WrestleMania 38.

Initially, it felt like Lesnar wanted to team-up with Reigns considering he wanted to shake the Tribal Chief's hand after he entered the ring, but that wasn't the case.

Mayhem followed as Brock Lesnar sent the Bloodline on the canvas, forcing them to flee the arena after a "F5 takeover" to reignite his rivalry with Roman Reigns.
