Roger Federer finally makes his tennis return

Roger Federer, the modern-day great is set to return to tennis at the Swiss Indoors in Basel this October.

The 40-year-old Swiss star is set to comeback with an ATP ranking of No.9.

In 2020, Federer underwent two knee surgeries, however he was back on the court in 2021.

The 20-time Grand Slam winner underwent a third knee operation, which ruled him out from the rest of the season.

The Swiss Indoors in Basel will be his first singles event since Wimbledon in 2021, after he lost to Hubert Hurkacz.

Federer has won the Swiss Indoors 10 times and remains undefeated on his home turf since 2013.

The whole tennis world was pleased after he announced his comeback.

Federer also posted on Instagram saying “Looking forward to playing back home”
