Real Reason Why WWE Doesn’t Have a Live Show This Christmas

WWE recently announced that there wouldn't be a live Monday Night Raw on December 26th and instead they will be airing a pre-taped "The Absolute Best Of 2022" special show.

Fightful Select revealed the reason behind WWE's decision to not do a live episode of Raw on the day after Christmas.

Fightful is reporting that WWE wants their production crew to get some additional time off during the festive period and that's the thinking behind them doing a pre-taped show.

The WWE production crew has a hectic schedule across the year as the WWE shows keep happening throughout the year without any proper break.

Since taking over from Vince McMahon, Triple H has brought several positive changes to keep the morale up among the employees and giving them time off is aimed at keeping his workers happy and fresh.

A top talent told Fightful that they will still be getting paid during their time off and having no television tapings from December 20th to 28th is a good move for them.

WWE also pre-taped the 23rd December edition of Smackdown last week and their next live show will be the 30th December edition of Smackdown where John Cena will make his WWE return.
